B2B Market (“B2B Market,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an online business-to-business marketplace that enables registered businesses to buy and sell goods and services.

We value the trust placed in us and are committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal and business information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you access or use our platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy applies to:

Note: B2B Market does not store full payment card numbers. Payment data is handled directly by compliant payment processors.

Transaction & Operational Data
  • Orders, RFQs, invoices, quotes, and payment status
  • Shipping and billing addresses
  • Communications between Buyers and Vendors conducted through the platform
B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Log data, access times, and referring URLs
  • Usage data, including pages viewed and actions taken

3. Business Account Responsibility

Business accounts are created and controlled by an authorized representative (“Account Administrator”).

The Account Administrator is responsible for:

  • Ensuring that any personal information of employees or representatives is collected and shared lawfully
  • Obtaining any required internal consents
  • Managing user permissions and access rights
  • Ensuring account activity complies with applicable laws and internal company policies

B2B Market is not responsible for internal business data governance decisions made by account administrators.

    • Perform Know Your Business (KYB) verification

    • Comply with anti-money laundering (AML), tax, and regulatory obligations
  3. Financing & Credit Services
    • Assess eligibility for BNPL or Net 30/60/90 payment terms
    • Share necessary data with financing partners and credit bureaus
    • Monitor repayment performance and manage risk
  4. Some financing decisions may involve automated processing conducted by third-party financial institutions.
  5. Communication & Support
    • Send transactional and administrative communications
    • Respond to inquiries, disputes, or support requests
  6. Marketing & Communications
    • Send newsletters or promotional communications where permitted by law

Can I delete my data?

Yes, you can request deletion of your account and personal information at any time. We will remove your data within thirty days, except for transaction records required by Canadian tax law. Contact our privacy team to initiate the deletion process.

How is payment information protected?

All payment data is encrypted and processed through PCI-compliant third-party providers. We never store complete credit card numbers on our servers. Your banking information for Net Terms financing is similarly protected with industry-standard security protocols.

Is my information shared with vendors?

Vendors receive only the information necessary to fulfill your orders, such as your company name and delivery address. They do not access your payment methods, credit limits, or financial data. Your contact information is not shared for marketing purposes.

What about international data transfers?

Vectra Markets operates primarily within Canada. If data is transferred internationally for processing, we ensure it meets Canadian privacy standards through contractual agreements. We comply with PIPEDA and do not transfer data to countries with weaker privacy protections.

How long do you keep my data?

Account information is retained while your account is active. Transaction records are kept for seven years to comply with tax regulations. Deleted accounts are purged within thirty days, except for legally required records.
